Building a house

Here's a picture, i think from 2 years ago - of the pig shed before we fixed it up. There's Lee Jancowski in the right doorway - our handy-man angel that helped us with that project. It seemed like a huge deal. And then last spring, building the greenhouse seemed like a daunting new project. This spring, we've been building a house, under the kind and patient direction of Andy Orngard, who still seems to find us entertaining. I have rarely been leaving the farm because there is so much work to do - between planting, weeding, and the house building. This is why I have not written anything on the blog, nor have I been answering many emails.

Do not be fooled - there is tons going on at the farm, almost every day. We are overflowing with activity, it's not just the bees that are busy. I hope that nicholas will add a picture of the house to this little note. HOpefully, by this weekend, we will have the walls up (and maybe the roof?) Nothing has been going according to plan (though everything has been good) so i don't want to have too many expectations.

If you want to reach us right now, the phone is the way to go.
