Dear friends,

(in this email:

new workshop building

oh no! another sideways picture!
i just wanted to let everyone know how things are going with the building.
last week the framing crew got the whole structure up, with plywood outside and tyvek wrapping it all up before it started raining.

we are waiting for the doors and windows to arrive - they were a little back ordered, but should be here around thanksgiving. The roof might happen before the windows get here.

Celeriac is a variety of celery that makes bigger edible roots, and usually has shorter, tougher stalks. These stalks and leaves are packed with flavor though, and are great added to soups.

Xueyan Mu!

Hello everyone!

So, Xueyan, our last summer intern, left us just a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't able to post Xueyan's introduction to the farm community on this blog, so hopefully you got to know them while they were here! This is a little taste of Xueyan to say goodbye for now, with some pictures and their answers to my fun questions!

1. What vegetable are you and why? Peas, because I'm small, spherical, and fun.
