Hello friends,
I just wanted to let you know that we will be at TWO MORE MARKETS here in December. One is this Sunday, and one next Saturday. We've been busy the past few weeks, so we will have new rugs, pottery, 100% beeswax candles, and hand-spun, hand-dyed yarn, in addition to all the crafts and plants we had previously.
WE HAVE GOTTEN ALL THE GARLIC PLANTED!!
Today's workday is still scheduled - 10/28/2023 1-4pm,
but we will be not planting actual cloves in the ground - we got that done earlier this week before the rain and cold weather.
WE WILL BE MULCHING THE GARLIC (this is the final job of the garlic planting - giving it a cozy blanket to protect it all winter, and then to keep the weeds out next spring)
and we will do other misc. tasks.
hello all,
Once again, we are looking for LEAVES for mulching the gardens at the Mustard Seed Community Farm. This year, we will also take pine needles.
We are also looking for CANDLE WAX to make our annual advent candles. for more info - look at the bottom of this post.
Here's a note from Nate, who is coordinating the leaf pick-ups:
Hello Folks!
Text Nate at 515-231-2002 if you can donate leaves to Mustard Seed Community Farm this Fall. See below for details. Thank you!
