3 interesting upcoming events

Dear everyone,

as you may have noticed, it's still quite wintry in iowa. We had a great event this past Saturday; I think everyone who showed up had a great time. However, there was a big snow storm and many people stayed safe in their cozy little homes. so in case you are just itching to get out, I thought I'd let you know about a few other upcoming events. this Saturday, march 8 there are 2 simultaneous events. it would be hard to get to them both, but it might be worth trying. I will be at the ag-arts event, making a proposal. if Mustard Seed wins the door prize, we will use it to pay 3 awesome teachers to lead agricultural arts workshops (permaculture, natural building, and seed saving). This is a fun event - come vote for us - but really you should vote for the project that sounds the most exciting to you. (if that's not enough to do in one day, you can also spend the day at wheatsfield eating mini-cupcakes and samples)

also march 14-17 is the Midwest CW faith and resistance retreat in desmoines.

Finally, our official farm workdays start in April. If the weather allows, we have a workday april 5 and april 12(please double check this before you come). However, give me a call if you are longing to spend some time outdoors before then - we will definitely be doing interesting things out on the farm and would love some help.
