The Mustard Seed Community Farm is hosting a SWAP!

WHEN: Sunday, Dec 8, 3:30pm-5pm. We will begin with half an hour to set out your items and hear a few announcements. We can peruse items from 4-5.

WHERE: Harvest Vineyard Church ROOM 111, at 320 S 17th St in Ames

WHY: This swap is in the sharing and loving spirit of a gift economy exchange! Let's share abundance as a community - if you have items that you no longer need, bring them! If you find something you need, take it with you! Whatever is left over at the end will be donated to community clothing drives and pantries. This is not a 1-for-1 trade, so you can bring many things, one thing, no things... and take whatever you need. Please come with your generous, non-competitive heart :)

WHAT TO BRING: Items could include clothing, books, kitchen items, toys, etc. Please do not bring cumbersome, difficult-to-transport items to the swap event (as we will need to transport these for donation if they are not wanted). Instead, consider posting the item on the Facebook Event page for this swap to coordinate directly with someone who needs it!

VOLUNTEERS: Would you like to help with this event? We will be setting up the event space from 3-3:30pm. We would particularly LOVE help with taking a load of stuff in your car at the end of the event (5pm) to be delivered to a donation site. Clean up will happen from 5-6pm. Let us know if you are interested in helping.
