APRIL 7, NOON-1: COOKING CLASS with Juri Bhattacharyya
This week's wednesday skillshare is with another wonderful cook from our farm community, Juri Bhattacharyya. It's an ambitious menu planned - see below for ingredient list!

Since the farm delivers abundance of tomatoes, eggplants, cabbage/kale, butternut squash, chili etc this is what I plan to cook that day:
1. Tomato and potato curry
2. Garbanzo bean with tomato
3. Cabbage stir fry
4. Mixed veg dish
5. Juri’s Kheema (not farm related)
INGREDIENTS needed for above:
(Oil is not listed but will need at least 1tbsp for each recipe.
Any one of Veg/Canola/Olive will do)
1—- 3-4 tomatoes, 1med potato,
salt, juice and jest of 1/2 lemon
or lime. Cilantro(optional)
2.—- 2-15oz can garbanzo bean
Sat, 2-3 tomatoes,
1 Green or jalapeño chili
1 med onion, 1large clove garlic
3.—- shredded cabbage, salt,
Mustard seed, cumin powder
Turmeric (optional)
4.—- 1 potato, 1 green pepper,
1c chopped butternut squash,
1 small eggplant,
2c shredded cabbage
Onion-garlic (both optional)
Salt, pepper, cumin powder,
Turmeric(optional)
Cumin seed (optional)
(You can omit/add almost any veg here. I like to keep the cabbage for binding everything together. )
5.—- Ground Turkey (fresh/defrosted)
1 med onion chopped
1/2c Frozen sweet pea
2-Tbsp cumin powder
Salt, pepper
*** Please keep
A) at least one of Tortilla or naan or pita bread or cooked rice and
B) at least one of sour cream or Greek yogurt within reach if you plan to cook and eat with me that day.
C) 1/4 cup grapes or pineapples or any soft sweet-and-sour fruits and any kind of hot sauce.
