So I'm back in Ames, for my last semester as an undergrad at Iowa State. So far, I've learned that robins don't technically migrate, they just follow food, so it isn't unusual to see them during the winter in certain microclimates. There was a lot of potatoes, kale, and a bit of lettuce in the bed. If things were edible, the workers left them to grow unless they started really harming the main crop. So I pulled a lot of plants I wasn't supposed to, such as
