AMIE'S BOOK EVENT
When: Thurs, July 20 at 7 PM
Where: Dog-Eared Books
It's free, all are welcome, and there will be tasty drinks and a fun conversation about Iowa nature and history -
our very own Amie Adams wrote The Observer: The Life and Writings of Bernt Olaf Wolden in partnership with the Iowa Master Naturalists and Emmet County Conservation in Northwest Iowa. The book is part-biography, part-anthology, all tribute to Olaf Wolden, a 19th century Iowa naturalist.

SEED SAVING CLASS at Ames Public Library
AUGUST 26, 2-3:30pm - Alice is teaching a seed saving workshop along with the library, Ames Repair Cafe, the Master Gardeners, and the new SEED LIBRARY PROJECT !!
CLASSES - WE are still having regular classes, mostly on Wednesday afternoons - please reach out to Alice if you are interested in learning more.

We have been shorthanded this month, and we would love help catching up. Come at a regular time or we can schedule something around you.
- We need help at our HARVESTS- we need both emergency helpers, and new regular harvesters - you get a box of veggies and it's very fun (tuesday and/or friday mornings)
- we need help WEEDING - Wednesday and Saturday mornings are great times to help us weed!
