We will start planting GARLIC TOMORROW!

and we would love your help and company!

Saturday 10/21, 10-noon, or 1-4pm
Saturday 10/28 1-4pm

Help us this Saturday or next Saturday as we plant garlic, 1-4pm. We plant garlic in the fall, and then mulch it to protect it over winter and it grows first thing in the spring. We are looking for a variety of helpers - folks to help us split up garlic cloves, plant the garlic in the ground, and mulch afterwards. Some of this work can be done sitting in chairs, and some requires bending in the field. The garlic will be harvested next July and shared with our volunteers and members, and local food pantries, shelters, and community hunger relief programs.

MONDAY 10/23 - the weather forecast looks like Monday will be quite a nice day, so please let me know if you would be able to help with a FINAL HARVEST FOR DONATIONS AND MORE GARLIC PLANTING. We will be harvesting the last of the CARROTS, and oodles of kale, herbs and other hardy veggies.
