February News, Valentines Flower CSA gift and more

here is a SIGN UP FORM to fill out if you are interested in more information about volunteering with us.

Hello farm friends!

February marks the transition back to more outdoor work on the farm. While the outdoor work never stops entirely, this month brings enough work for volunteers to return to the farm to lend a hand. Do you want to help with seed starting, greenhouse work, willow harvest, pruning fruit trees, or outreach? Make sure to fill out our 2026 volunteer forms so we can contact you!

All New and Returning Workshares & Volunteers

PLEASE SIGN UP HERE!

Workshares join us on Tuesdays or Fridays from 7-10 AM for our harvest mornings, which begin in early May. In exchange for your work, you will receive a bountiful box of vegetables! No experience is necessary. There are also lots of year-round opportunities to volunteer with us, which are listed on this form as well and will be starting this month! Please sign up if you are interested so we can start communicating with you! We would like all new and returning workshares and volunteers to complete the sign up form!

Join the Farm Team
The farm team is made up of folks who shape the vision and direction of our farm and contribute to special projects and big picture dreaming and decision-making. Our Farm Team operates through a consensus model where we make decisions unanimously. This model stems from the Catholic Worker value of Personalism where the dignity of each person is recognized and celebrated. The farm team meets year-round, one Sunday afternoon per month. Our upcoming meetings are scheduled for Sundays February 8, March 8, April 12, and May 17 from 1:30-3:00 PM. We also have a Farm Team Retreat on February 22 from 2-5 PM. Anyone is welcome to join us.

We are so grateful to be a place where people can come together to care for each other, to grow food, and to create community. Thank you for being part of the more beautiful, creative, sustainable, and peaceful world we are working toward together. ????

With care,

The Mustard Seed Farm Crew
