I started some leeks this week, but besides that our farm work is still mostly planning, splitting wood, and working on the insides of the house. HOwever, we do have some great events coming up this month.

Sunday Feb 13th, 2pm at the Ames public library - a free concert by the Porch Stompers (featuring farm members nate and alice) this is also alice's birthday.

Friday feb 18th - our monthly pot-luck. Our discussion leader is Carolyn Raffensperger, and the topic is community resilience, global warming, and growing food. This is also at Carolyn's house - 3703 Woodland ave, in Ames. 6pm dinner, 7pm discussion.

Feb 24, 7pm - craft night at Larrison and Breanne's house, 138 Main st . Bring a craft to share, or a project you are working on and spend time being creative with wonderful people. questions? email breanne.hunter3@gmail.com
