summer events and garlic harvest!

hello friends!

Thanks everyone for coming to our party last saturday, in the midst of heat and thunderstorms, and making our 10 year celebration such a great success! It was wonderful to be in the company of such a wonderful community of people who have helped make this farm possible over the years.

after a very dry spring, we are now having a very wet summer. It's surprising how quickly things can change. A few crops are drowning, but otherwise, the soil is draining and the plants are growing. We definitely have not had to water in weeks.

upcoming events:

GARLIC HARVEST - this saturday, July 7, 8am-4pm. If you are able, it's easiest if you arrive at the beginning of either the morning or afternoon shift, but if that's not possible, come any time. If you will be here for lunch (noon-1) please bring some food to share. If you help us harvest garlic, you will be able to go home with some Garlic, and possibly flowers!
