CIDER PRESSING SEPTEMBER 28, 1-4PM

Cider Pressing Event
Saturday September 28, 1-4pm

Dear friends,

It's been a good season, and it's time for some parties!

Cider Pressing - Saturday September 28, 1-4pm.
Bring apples to share, jugs and containers, and we will all work together making cider on our old fashioned press. Everyone will get cider to take home (as long as there are enough apples to make cider!) You don't need perfect apples, so take a look around for those neglected apple trees in your neighborhood and ask if you can pick some of them.
Everyone's invited. If you can't bring any apples, we should at least have enough cider for you to drink a glass, and you can pick a bouquet of flowers to take home.

Square Dance and potluck - Saturday October 12, 4-7pm.
Come celebrate the new building by joining us for a potluck meal and dance, with a live band and dance caller. For dancing, no experience or partner necessary - you will be taught all you need to know. We've been working all year on this new building, which won't be totally done, but will be in really great shape, and we want to show it off. If you're wondering why this event is so early - it's because sunset is at 6:38 that night.

Both the Cider Pressing and Dance will be at the Mustard Seed Community Farm, 366 W Ave, 10 miles north and 5 miles west of Ames, IA.

Hope to see you soon!
