SATURDAY MAY 13TH!!! SEED AND PLANT SHARE

Hi Community of Plant Lovers!

There's so much going on this Saturday, May 13th!

WE are hosting our SEED AND PLANT SHARING EVENT 10am-NOON

AND mustard seed friend Helen Gunderson is hosting a coordinated event sharing PLANTS AND PIZZA from 10am-2pm. (It will be like a progressive plant sharing event - or a seedling crawl??) There's a chance of rain, but for now we are planning on going ahead and bringing some rain gear just in case.

Looking to start gardening but don't know what to plant? Have some seeds you're excited about this year? Started more tomato seedlings than you have room in your garden for again? Good news: our annual seed & plant share is just around the corner! Join us on the Romero House front lawn on Saturday morning, May 13th to celebrate the gift of green things that grow in the best way we know: by spreading the wealth around. All are welcome, everything free for the taking, whether or not you bring something to swap. Please label your plants and/or seeds. You can also bring pots and trays for starting seeds or growing plants.

We will be bringing our GOOD FOOD EVERYDAY GARDEN KITS to give away
and other plants and seeds to share, and we know from the past that there will be many other horticultural treasures brought by many people!

Our Plant/Seed Share is coming up THIS Saturday and we're still in need of a few folks to be helpers during the event (10-12pm). This mostly consists of keeping plants organized on the tables, labeling plants, putting plants in boxes for folks to take home, and answering any questions visitors might have about what plants are where. It's a fun time and such a delight to see the community engaging in growing healthy food.

We have a sign-up sheet here:

There is also a short list of supplies we need. If you happen to be volunteering and have anything on the list, feel free to add your name next to the item.

Thanks, all! Looking forward to sharing plants and seeds!
